Kitchen Cabinets

0

I am not a cook but I sure love to have a wonderful kitchen. Every housewife should know how to cook, and she should know how to cook well. As the saying goes, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. But sometimes, we do need a little extra inspiration in cooking besides our partner's in life, a nice, cozy and organized kitchen could help. But what are the requirements for a conducive cooking area?
Here's my personal requirements when it comes to kitchens.

Mobility
This does not necessarily means that I need a kitchen that I can move around. Mobility of the cook as well as the other person's who will use the kitchen is a must for me. The kitchen should be spacious enough to cater care-free movements.

Cleanliness
Err..Who wants a dirty one?

Well-Illuminated
For sanitary and safety purposes, a cooking area should be properly lighted. It should have the necessary "bling" for it to look a nice and sane place to prepare food.

Functional Kitchen Cabinets
Modular cabinets are one of my foremost requirements when it comes to the cooking area. Kitchen cabinets should not just be bought because the area requires one. Kitchen cabinets should be right for the area. Here are some of the cabinets I am eyeing at for my new apartment.

Miss Housewife Wannabe

Not everyone dreams of becoming a housewife. Cleaning the house, doing the laundry, grocery trips, childcare is not a dream job for the women of today. In a world where "independent women" exists, being a housewife and a home maker is not in their priority list.
Don't get me wrong, but women nowadays are career-oriented. Top managerial positions are being handled by talented women who are not just independent, but chick and savvy in every way. Staying at home taking care of the kids , the house and the needs of their partner's in life is not as exciting as a business presentation for them. In a society wherein media affects our daily life, change and adaptation is inevitable.
I am an independent women with goals in mind and a career that is flourishing. I get excited and challenged by the fact that I am working in an industry where most men rule, but greater women excels. Still these goals of mine does not change the fact that I am a homemaker and I am a frustrated housewife wannabe.
I was raised in a family where girls where supposed to  learn how to take care of the house, cook, do the laundry and other household chores. I enjoy doing that. I do crocheting, cross stitch and I can even sew. I am your typical "manang" as my cousin fondly tease me.
So I have decided to create a blog to display the "manang" in me.
